CosmeticConcrete.Com is dedicated to customer satisfaction.
The Homeowners Design Services Program is just another example of that dedication. Giving you the ability to visualize your new patio, driveway, walkway, or pool deck before breaking ground is a powerful tool. This one of a kind service will provide you with a professional portfolio which includes before and after designed images of the photo you supply to us.
- How the program works.
The CosmeticConcrete.Com Homeowners Design Service program allows you to take a digital image or scanned photo of your home and send it to our Design Department. CosmeticConcrete.Com will contact you to discuss the project and design for free by importing the images into our proprietary Imaging software and begin to design with the full assortment of CosmeticConcrete.Com products. This may include using different products, patterns, or colors which we can change with the click of a mouse. We can also show landscaping, and accessories to accentuate the design and perspective by selecting images from the extensive libraries offered through the Imaging software. The finished images we supply will allow you to see what your project will look like when completed – before we even give you a quote.
- How to take an ideal photograph for CosmeticConcrete.com Imaging
i) Try to envision what you would like to see in the photographs before taking any pictures. Think about the locations that you are going to be shooting from as well.
ii) Remove all objects from the area that you are planning to photograph. This includes patio furniture, BBQ grills, lawn ornaments, etc. These objects become very difficult to work around.
iii) Some objects you will not have the ability to move such as trees, shrubs, landscaping, etc. The best thing to do is try to shoot away from them if possible. Do not jeopardize the quality or angle of the pictures just to avoid these objects.
iv) Shoot your photography in ample lighting conditions. The best time for shooting would be on an overcast / partly cloudy day. This will eliminate sun glare as well as shadows. The evening before dusk is a good time as well.
v) The best angle for taking pictures to use in the CosmeticConcrete.com Imaging program is about 35-45 degrees looking down. An easy way to look at this is to stand on the third or fourth step of an 8’ step ladder and shoot down towards the proposed project area.
vi) Save the digital pictures as .jpg's on your computer. This is a universal format that is easy to e-mail and open once received.
